Gail and Lois Alston collaboratively opened the salon in 2008 and it has gone on to become one of the most revered salons in the North West.
Gail - our creative director with over 20 years experience in the industry - trained with Pierre Alexandre in Manchester for six years and has brought up-to-date techniques along with creativity to the Color & Therapy Lounge and now specialises in Hollywood Colour Blend (TM).
All our stylists can cater to all hair types, tones and textures, and our salon is known for its specialism in colour and, in particular, beautiful balayage work. We also specialise in hair extensions, using the finest, ethically sourced hair that looks shiny and full, without ever damaging your own natural hair.
Our expert team offer a range beauty treatments including make-up, waxing, lashes, nail enhancements, spray tans and much more.

Gail Alston
Salon owner Gail Alston is our senior stylist with over 20 years experience in the industry. Gail, who trained with Pierre Alexandre in Manchester for six years, has brought excellent techniques along with creativity to the Color & Therapy Lounge and now specialises in Hollywood Colour Blend (TM).
Keeping up to date with the latest trends, Gail continues to train with celebrity hair stylists such as Catherine Boden and Romero Phillipe in the UK and abroad.
Understanding the importance of sharing this knowledge with her already talented team, Gail has been awarded Blackburn College Employer of the year, for contributing a high standard of training to her apprentices.
Lois Alston
Lois Alston is one of the North West's leading cosmetic tattoo, Ombre and microblading technicians. Specialising in Hairstroke brows with over 17 years experience in the beauty industry, and trained to gold level.
Lois offers a variety of treatments from Brow lamination, keratin lash lifts, Nanoblading, Ombre brow, Aesthetic treatments and all aspects of beauty courses.
Her natural flair for her work has led to her being in very high demand.
